Howdy,
I just noticed that my local Fox station (WFXT 25 in Boston) has a 3:00am showwing of the season 3 premire of Buffy on Sunday 9/30. They also have episode 1 of season 1 showwing at 2:00pm on Sunday 9/30. Is this a generic Fox thing or just my local Fox? I was feeling pretty left out of the re-airing on FX because my lame AT&T cable company does not carry FX.
Thanks,
Will

There are two seperate sets of second-run rights for "Buffy" - FX gets weekday showings, and a package of episodes is syndicated to local stations on the weekends, much like was done with "The X-Files", "ER", "NYPD Blue", etc.
That it's on Fox in Boston is just co-incidence; it can wind up on whatever local station pays for the rights. For example, Portland, ME will probably receive it on either the WB or UPN stations because they don't have a Fox station anymore.
