Possibly if Battlestar Galatica does well. It's on the "in consideration" listSigh. Yet another indication that so much of the time these guys don't have a clue who their audience is. I wouldn't touch Battlestar with a barge pole, but I will be all over Buck Rogers film and season 1.
The way they killed Buck Rogers was by trying to turn it into a Battlestar clone in the unwatchable S2. Naturally it tanked.
Long live camp and sexy space babes: That means you, Princess Ardala!
Ted
it was of scantily clad women rolling around the giant illuminated words, "BUCK ROGERS," in a sort of low-budger James Bond type of opening montage.Ok the low-grade attempt at emulating James Bond I'll give you, but I could have sworn that Buck was also kissing the broads that were lying down during the opening. If I recall it bordered on soft-core porn. No?:frowning:
Also, the theme from Buck RogerI actually paid $30 8 years ago to have a scratchy Buck Rogers in the 25th Century soundtrack LP converted to CD-R.

Two words... "Off think"Yes, that would be the one ep from S2 I'd enjoy having the most! Ah, there are a few others, but not many.
Ok but put Buck Rogers of the late 70's/early 80's in perspective. It wasn't trying to be as smart as Star Trek and wasn't going for the epic wannabe-Star Wars-esque scope that Galactica was attempting to reach even though it might have given that impression at first. We're talking space disco vampires and little female gold robot that said, "bootybootybooty".Right right. It was women in spandex pants with the sides cut out and replaced with stitching. And everyone flew around in spaceships. And once and awhile ran into Gary Coleman. It wasn't trying to be much more than simple entertainment. And Gil Gerard mostly seemed like he'd rather have been somewhere else. Or maybe that was as good as his acting got, I don't know.
Oh god, and the endless recycled shot of the Frank Lloyd Wright museum... memories... actually Battlestar Galactica used that footage once or twice too, come to think of it.
Also, the theme from Buck RogersGah! That's enough for me to reconsider my desire for Buck Rogers on DVD.
