Which would you pick if you had a choice and why? A used 9B-ST that is about 2 years old or a brand new Sherbourn 5/5120 amp. Both would be priced about the same? Which is the better amp?

Bryston, and the reason is that its a better amp..Also 18 years left on warranty. Ive owned the Sherbourn 5/1500 and now the lex 225 and 312 (bryston 3bst and 4bst) and to my ears the bryston is better top to bottom (Allthough Sherbourn's a great amp too)

My vote goes for the Bryston. High quality of sound and it will last you a ~1/3 of your lifetime if you decide to keep it for that long.

My vote goes to the Sherbourn. More bang for the buck IMO and to top it off, it's upgradable to 7 channels.

How is the Sherbourn more bang for the buck when he can get them both at the same price? The Bryston is a 4k amp and has EIGHTEEN years of transferable, no questions asked, fast as hell warranty remaining....
