Brotherhood Of The Wolf --Canadian vs. U.S.--? (1 Viewer)

Okay, I have both the U.S. version & the Exclusive Canadian version of this DVD. The U.S. version runs 2hours 24 mins (144 mins) and the Exclusive Canadian version runs 152 mins. That means, in my book, there is a mysterious 8 minutes in the Exclusive Canadian version. All of the deleted scenes on both DVD's are extras and are not restored into the movie. What is this extra 8 minutes?

...the US release has the international theatrical version, whereas the Canadian release (at least the three-disc French-language one) has the same DC as the French French three-disc release... the c.8 minutes were cut from the film because of its length - not (as some preverts might hope ) because of any t&a or gore... this is explained by the Director Christophe Gans in his commentary (French, naturellement!)...
