I always feel like a bit of a fanboy voting for Fellowship all the time, it just never goes up against favorites of mine. Put it against 2001 or Pulp Fiction and it has no chance.

The Shawshank Redemption advances 4-3 with my vote going for The Shining. Shawshank takes down its 2nd Kubrick film.

2001 advances 4-0 including my vote though like Rob says, Hedwig is a great little movie. That also means no New Line films made the final 8.

Quarterfinals

Singin' In The Rain
vs.
A Clockwork Orange

Citizen Kane
vs.
Eyes Wide Shut

He kissed her with a sigh
would you, would you?
And if the girl were I
would you, would you?
And if I was to say
"Let's do the same as they"
I would, would you?
- Singin' in the Rain

Maybe Rosebud was something he couldn't get, or something he lost. Anyway, I don't think it would have explained everything. I don't think any word can explain a man's life. No, I guess Rosebud is just a piece in a jigsaw puzzle... a missing piece. - Citizen Kane

A Clockwork Orange advances 6-2 with my vote going to Singin' in the Rain though the films are pretty much even in my mind.

Citizen Kane advances 4-3 over Eyes Wide Shut. I'm not really sure which I'd vote for.

2001 A Space Odyssey
vs.
The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre

Full Metal Jacket
vs.
The Shawshank Redemption

What are you doing, Dave? - 2001

This is my rifle, this is my gun
This is for fighting, this is for fun
- Full Metal Jacket
