Throne of Blood—I love Suzuki’s irreverence, but this is really no contest.

The Red Shoes—on my short list (which is actually pretty long).

Steve give Tokyo Drifter and Branded to Kill a watch. I predict that you will really enjoy them both.

Throne Of Blood advances 6-0 including my vote. Tokyo Drifter is fantastic fun though, you should check it out Steve. I didn't really care for Branded To Kill. I recently added a bunch of Suzuki films to my Netflix list but they are about 150 movies ahead of 'em.

The Red Shoes advances 4-0 including my vote. I love The White Sheik, but this was no contest for me.

Had to make a slight adjustment this time so Micheal Powell wouldn't have to face himself in the 1st round. Two more very tough matchups.

#58 PEEPING TOM
vs.
#174 BAND OF OUTSIDERS

#49 NIGHTS OF CABIRIA
vs.
#173 THE LIFE AND DEATH OF COLONEL BLIMP

TD and BTK are on my rather lengthy want-to-see list, don't know when I'll get around to them. I did finish up the BRD Trilogy last night with Lola. It's movies like this that make up for all the average dreck we sit through...

Wow, I expected both of these to be closer, they were close decisions for me anyway:

Peeping Tom advances 4-0 including my vote

The Life And Death Of Colonel Blimp advances 7-0 including my vote.

2 More Toughies:

#60 AUTUMN SONATA
vs.
#171 CONTEMPT

#61 MONTY PYTHON'S THE LIFE OF BRIAN
vs.
#164 SOLARIS
