Just discovered this answer on Brian M Bendis's website

Do you think they´re going to interview you for the
    : Spider-Man Movie DVD?
we have had scheduling difficulties but they are trying to make it happen.

This sounds excellent, what should he talk about: perhaps an audio commentary for the movie itself.

I don't know how I feel about this. Yes he is a great Spidey author but honestly what he does has no bearing on the movie whatsoever, hopefully its just a blurb on comics relating to the movie or something like that.

What I meant to say was if there were to do a special feature on the 40 year history worth of comics on the DVD itself, he should narrate this part instead of the movie, possibly include some of those awesome sketches that are found in The Ultimate SpiderMan TPB.

I think it would be good to include references to and content regarding comic books as this film certainly is tied very strongly to comic books. I applaud any inclusion of comics creators, writers, and artists in this DVD.

Not to mention, a Bendis commentary where he's just billed as a comics professional/Spidey author could be fiercely entertaining - comparing Raimi/Koepp's version of the story to Lee/Ditko's and, of course, Bendis/Bagley's. If he's as spazzy as he is in the "Powers" letter column... Well, it would be a different sort of commentary, at the very least. [IMG]

They should do a commentary with Sam Raimi, Stan Lee and Tobey Maguire. That would be the best combination. Perhaps Bendis as well. That would cover many of the aspects of this film.
