News on the latest GrandTheftAuto has been a bit thin on the ground lately, screenshots look promising and the concept is a good'un but has anyone actually seen it running?

I haven't - I'm in Dallas, not Edinburgh, but mates say it's looking good. Very much in keeping with the original two titles 'but in 3D'.

I saw screenshots and read of preview of it in Electronic Gaming Monthly. Its supposed to be VERY violent and there is an option for an overhead view from the last two games.
