Okay, I'm gonna do this tournament to see which DePalma film is the most respected here at the HTF, and because I like most of his films. Here's the list:

    Blow Out
    Body Double
    Carlito's Way
    Carrie *
    Casualties of War
    Dressed To Kill *
    Femme Fatale
    The Fury
    Mission: Impossible
    Mission To Mars
    Phantom of the Paradise
    Raising Cain
    Scarface
    Sisters
    Snake Eyes
    The Untouchables

    Round 1, Match 1
    ------------------

    DRESSED TO KILL

    VS.

    SNAKE EYES

My vote: This is quite a tough one to start things off, but I think I'm gonna have to go with SNAKE EYES.

I love Snake Eyes (for the most part), but Dressed to Kill is the more enjoyable overall.

    Dressed to Kill.

Aside from the opening shot lifted from (or homage to)Touch of Evil, Snake Eyes was a bore.

Dressed To Kill - though I'm not a fan of his Hitchcock carbon-copies.

Dressed to Kill, I thought Snakes Eyes was subpar for DePalma

I'll vote when I can but have only seen 8 of the 16 films on the list. I should be seeing Femme Fatale sometime next week.

Damn, I thought there were a few more SNAKE EYES fans out there. Anyhow, DRESSED TO KILL gets the win 12-1.

Bill, that would give me 28 films, and that wouldn't work out for the one on one matchup format. If you have any suggestions, I'm open to them. Anyways...

    Round 1, Match 2
    -------------------

    CARRIE

    VS.

    MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE

My vote: I'm not a fan of MI, plus CARRIE is great, so it gets the vote.
