I have no special insight on these discs but have both in my library. Universal originally licensed Brewster's Millions to Image. When the rights reverted back, Universal released an anamorphic version. I doubt it will be revisited.
I'm guessing you meant Trading Places instead of Trading Spaces. Paramount released Trading Places two years ago. Although the current disc is servicable, it is bare of extras. However, I'm not sure a special edition would be high on Paramount's radar screen. Without a commentary by Murphy and Akroyd - which I don't expect - I don't know why the studio would consider a special edition.
