Brazilia DVD-A: anyone heard it?

    I noticed it at Best Buy, but haven't read any comments about it yet on various forums. It looks like latin jazz (DUH!) which could be pretty festive and intriguing on the surround format, that is if it is recorded well.

    Thought the same thing as you. Bought it. Good music, very so-so recording. I've really found DVD-A recordings a crap shoot. If the dynamics are there, and the engineers bother to re-mix it properly, (like the Grover Washington DVD-A), it can be some of the finest audio you've ever heard. If not, I've heard the original audio CD's sound better.

    Thanks Gary, you saved me a few bucks! I damn near bought it this afternoon. So now what do I spend my money on? I did order a couple of AIX discs and the sampler this afternoon.
