Hi,

A friend has a pair of these beasts and I'm trying to figure out some wiring options.

Since these speaker can be tri-wired, and have rca inputs I was wondering the following......

Can I bi-wire these speakers to the high and mids and then use RCA input for the lows? I don't mean the LFE input, but the line-level input from the receiver's pre-out? Does this make sense?

Since I don't want to buy tri-wiring for him, just bi-wiring, I was wondering if this is possible?

Thanks.

According to Def Tech, the ultimate wiring method is biwiring in addition to wiring them via "full range low level in". This hookup method is diagrammed in the manual. Don't hesitate to email Def Tech...they have excellent customer service.

Make sure to use some good cables. Let me know if you need any more tips.
Good luck!
