Anyone have any news about what's going on with this title???
I'm glad MGM are delayingHow odd. Dvdpricesearch has BFC listed as being an Image release.
According to Momentum, the UK distributors the lack of bonus features is (to paraphrase) "because Moore is spending the bulk of his time opposing the War in Iraq"Or more like planning how much he can further irritate Americans by making a fabricated docomentry about the 9/11 tragedy all with the help of F'n Disney.
If I were you all, if you own stock in Disney right now, sell it. This new movie of his is going to tank. Just like Bowling did.

Just like Bowling did. When making a post like this that attacks a filmmaker and his intentions, you might like to do a little research first, so that you are not open to the same charges you level at Moore.
Unless of course your definition of tank expands to mean ‘highly sucessful’. With a little background investigation, you will find that Bowling for Columbine is the most successful (in box office terms) documentary ever.
You might like to know that Roger and Me was also a financial success.
You should in no way construe this to mean that your (or anyone) needs to like the movie, nor does it mean that the film should not be critically examined (there is, in fact a thread devoted to this).
It does mean that I disagree with your apparent confusion of your view of the film and whether or not it was financially successful.

You may not like Bowling For Columbine and object to its fabrications and politics, but the film hardly "tanked." The movie made back its $4 million budget in France alone. In the US it made $21 million and counting and has certainly played in NY for about 9 months, hardly a failure. And Moore got enough press and notoriety (let alone the Oscar) and people talking about the subject to make the low cost of the project worth it.

You may not like Moore but that doesn't mean he doesn't make some very thought-provoking points in his work or that it was all made up. If there was someone I would want to make a documentary about 9/11, it would be Michael Moore.
As for the DVD release, I can understand the christmas mentality, but I certainly don't want to wait that long.
