I've noticed that when watching a movie on DVD(very evident on those w/ 2.35:1) that the bottom bar is 'bent'. About 3/4 of the way to the right side of the screen. The top bar is not as bad, but it, too, has some evidence of this on the LEFT-hand side.
What causes this and how is it corrected? I have a Toshiba 50" widescreen.

you have a geometry problem (like as if you didnt know).

The green convergence grid will have to be adjusted to straigten out the lines. Then the red and blue convergence lines will have to be placed on top of the green lines.

Basically, when you move the green grid you are manipulating the geometry. When you adjust the red and blue you are performing convergence.

    OK, Gregg-
So the one and only NATURAL follow-up question is:
HOW do I do this or please post a link so you don't have to go into all the detail.[IMG]
    And, Thanks - very much!

    Greetings

If you know how to do the service convergence, then you are 95% of the way there already.

All you need to know are the ch rtn button for blue

100 button for red and 0 for green. These turn on and off the guns.

You now have enough information to finish the job yourself.

    Regards
