boston vr975 versus nht 3.3

    50 percent music, 25 videogames and 25 ht.

    which one do you guys recommend?

    The 3.3 is very deep and can present placement problems. The other potential problem with the 3.3 is that it is does not have a powered woofer like the Boston and for best performance you should have at least 200 watts per channel with the 3.3. Don't get me wrong, the 3.3 is a fine speaker but their size, shape, weight, placement needs and power needs are important considerations.

    I agree...it depends on your amplification and preferences. Try to listen to both setups with the amplification you will be using at home. And make sure to give both speakers some room to breathe...particularly for their side-firing woofers. Good luck!
