I missed last night's episode. Could someone fill me in? Thanks!
It was actually a good episode:
Lipshitz gets invited to his son's Christmas gathering (but Harvey is Jewish, so he's got reservations about going. Stephen talks him into going). Harvey has a good time at his son's place with his now extended family.
Ronnie and Youngling #1 spend the whole episode almost doing the deed, but Ronnie had to proctor a test after school, which screwed up the first plans, and then Youngling #1 had to fix the school furnace, which put a crimp in their plans, but then they got locked in the furnace/boiler room area. Youngling #1 got them through the ducts which led them into the Senior room which comes with the snazzy couch/bed. They finally got to do the deed.
Joe Coolidge doesn't want to blow the whistle on the priest who's molesting him, and Danny can't change Joe's mind about it. Danny is all messed up about not coming forward against the same priest that molested both he and Joe. Danny get drunk, doesn't come into school to teach. Stephen find him (he was at the bar getting sloshed). Danny comes back to school in the after hours and goes nuts at the vending machine for taking his money. Stephen finds Danny in this messed up state, has him go to his office. Danny comes clean with his sordid past with the priest. Later Danny finds out that Joe tried to kill himself. Danny goes to the hospital where the family is there, and the priest is just coming out of Joe's room. This infuriates Danny, but he keep calm about it. The family tells Danny that only his immediate family should tend to Joe. Later, Danny decides to press charges on the priest, and tell Joe, and this inspires Joe to do the same (or so we are led to believe).
Kimberly made some awesome hash-less brownies, much to the annoyance of Marla, who's cookies can't compete with the brownies. Youngling #2 has 2 lines in this scene. Later at the bar (they are both snowed in, can't drive), Marla and Kimberly come to an understanding of each other, and bury the hatchet. Marla sees that Kimberly has a nice support system of family and money, Marla is jealous of that. Kimberly stands up for herself, gains Marla's respect.
Stephen's daughter tries to keep secret a trip to Telluride with her mom and mom's new boyfriend (and to see a Sting concert presumably), but Stephen finds out from Brooke's friend. Stephen tells Brook that he's okay with it (even through he exploded in front of Guber when he found out about the new boyfriend). In the end Brook show up at Stephen's place, while he's waiting old Christmas videos of Brook opening up a present, and she tells him that she wanted to be shallow and get on the plane, her heart wasn't into it (leaving her dad all along on Christmas).
Guber starts attending a dance class, and Marilyn has been attending the same class. Guber inserts foot into mouth many times, while trying to strike up a friendship with her. Finally she admits that Guber is right about her being a closed off person who doesn't open up to people and uses music as a shield. While being snowed in at the school, Guber and Marilyn do some more dancing in the hallways (while underneath them, Ronnie and Youngling #1 are doing the deed).
