I didn't see a thread for this current season that just ended.

Thought I'd comment on the season 4 finale that aired last night for this quirky Kelley series.

It was nice to see Shatner have an episode where he can play Denny Crane with all his brains intact and win a case on his own! I know they set his character up to look pretty nuts and going down with Mad Cow or really Altzheimer's Disease, but deep down, he's still himself and intact. He was almost Kirk-like!

I liked how they ended the episode as it seemed they didn't know if the series would return for a 5th season and show a Gone Fishin' sign.

I've seen all of this season's episodes, but it was so far down my priority viewing list (usually watched them on the weekends), I just never felt much need to comment on them by the time I watched them.

That said, there were quite a few very entertaining episodes. The Supreme Court episode was hysterically funny, and Spader was "on" in delivering Kelly screed against the actions of the court for the past few decades or so.

This show still has one of the better buddy-buddy combos left on TV (Denny and Alan).

i still think it's a good show in spite of some of the silliness of itself.

what makes it tough for me to watch it is that i can't bring myself to enjoy it.

I just can't take seeing some of my favorite actors and actress from the past
looking all fat and bloated, including Spader.
just too distracting for me.
