Bose are sold!! Now what 5.0 system to buy? (1 Viewer)

My room is ~ 12x15 12 being the distance from me to the viewing area.

I was using 501's and Bose video speakers as center and surround so almost anything would be an upgrade.

I already have a HSU sub which will stay as part of this setup. Now I'm looking for something between $500-1000. I was checking out the SVS SCS-01 5.0 system and was wondering if this was my best buy in this price range?

Speakers will be 90% movies and TV, 10% music.
Right now I will be using the Denon 4800 AVR.
I'm guessing in this price range towers are out of the question and if not they would lack the quality of a bookshelf.

There are so many options for speakers I figured SVS has to be one of the top choices in this price range. So any other suggestions would be great so I can look into those as well.

Do reviews and people on this forum say the av123 brand of speakers sound better than the svs?
