Hi-
I've got a full set of five perfectly good speakers from a Bose Acoustimass 6 Series V system bought 3-4 years ago. Nothing at all wrong with them, I just don't have the bass module unit.
I can't find anyone selling a standalone bass module for the AM 6 Series V, but there are a number of AM 6 series III's, or AM 10 (various series) available.
Question is: Can anyone give advice as to which Acoustimass bass modules are likely to be compatible with my five speakers from the original system, so I can get it up and running again? (Fully understand the risks of buying used, that Bose isn't the greatest, etc. etc. Just want some competent opinions about compatibility before I make a decision.
Thanks!
