    i used mine.
it is good for entire purchase and i think box sets are on sale.
the "you bet your life" was 40 not the sticker of 50.
    honeymooner's was also 40 not 45.

i [icked up those 2 plus criterion's straw dogs and notorious.

    total was about 124.00.

    edit:
but i just took a look at dvdplanet and i can get straw dogs there for $5 less. so SD's goes back to border's.

Thanks for the coupon! They didn't have any of the DVDs I was looking for, but I did grab a couple of books.

I picked up Magnum Force and The Hidden Fortress CC. The young lady was farely confused and ended up giving me 20%off and then another 20% off of the subtotal. So I really got something like 38-39% off. Too bad I didn't pick up a few more. Oh well.

So then I went to another store and picked up Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas CC, Solaris CC and John Woo's Collection: Hard Boiled/The Killer(Too bad they weren't the CC editions). Got a heck of a deal on the John Woo Collection - $32. The Criterions were about what I could have got them for over the internet but then again I didn't have to wait.

The funny thing is that everytime I used the coupon they would read it over, then go to the phone to call the manager, and the come back with "WOW! Didn't know we had this promotion. Where did you get it?" At which point I'd show them the link at the bottom of the print out. Just thought that was odd. Seems like no one was aware of the promo.

A big thanks to Rob from me. But my wallet hates you so.[IMG]

I went to pick up the Indy and Looney Tunes box sets. But Borders wanted LIST price for them ($70/$65). [IMG] Even with the 20% off, they would cost more than BB and CC's prices. I bought some books for my son instead.

I bought the Ultimate Vacation DVD set here because I had a gift card. I used the coupon with no problems.

    Price was $56.99 before coupon.

After the coupon, it came to like $46 or something close to that.

Not too shabby I suppose. I could have probably gotten it cheaper eventually, but I didnt want to wait anymore.

    Mark,

Your right about Looney Tunes and Indiana Jones. What a joke that was.
