I need some help I just purchased a 52 inch widescreen. the problem is that it takes up alot of room, my wife is considering getting a entertainment center and wants to put the 2 front speakers inside of the shelves. Will this take away from the sound?
    My front speakers are
    Paradigm mini monitors.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Putting rear portted Paradigm mini monitors inside shelves is not good for sound. However, if you use similarly priced and front protted speakers like Monitor Audio B2 or PSB B25, you will not compromise the sound.

Paradigm mini monitors are not magnetically shielded, if your TV is a CRT based, Paradigm mini monitors will interfer with colour of your TV. While Monitor Audio B2 or PSB B25 are shielded, you can safely place them near any TV.
