On a more serious point, I don't think the dancing was so out of character. Brennan is, among other things, a serious control freak. We normally only see her with her staff, with Booth and with strangers that are just pieces of the current puzzle to her. And she only shows each of them the parts of herself she wants them to see. Which means those are also the only parts of her we see. That doesn't mean her personality doesn't have other sides that aren't expressed in the situations where we observe her. (For all we know, she might have a little Captain in her. )
"Absence of evidence is not necessarily evidence of absence."
Can we open a separate "Former Buffy/Angel actors who do guest shots on Bones" thread for the four people who care about this and get back to discussing the show?
This week, pirates! Arrrgh, matey! (It's a guy thing.)
Well, considering the small fact that no one even posts in this thread anymore, probably because it's forgotten (even if people are still watching the show itself), at least these guest star mentions 'bump' the thread up, and maybe someone will see the thread and mention and/or discuss the episodes.
You make it out to be going off topic, when there is no topic being discussed.
I like the premise of the show, but I can't get past the lead female character. I think she is horrible at acting...... I haven't seen her in anything else except for bones, so it maybe the fault of the writers and directors.
One thing I thought was weird in this episode was the way Booth interacted with the Dr. in the FBI Morgue. Something just seemed off about that whole dynamic.
I am starting to get tired of how culturally nieve that Bones is. Seems weird someone with that much anti-social grace would even write a Novel. Or at least one that people would be able to understand.
i still like it all =). the recent dive episode does seem a bit stetched and hokie. there are places where you can "squint" or squeem at the randomness of events. but overall, i think it's got the goods. it's very technical for a primetime show =).
You mean actually talking about the show?? Yeah, that does seem to have worked. (There is really no reason to bump threads, by the way. I knew this thread was here, and I'm sure others did as well. When I had something I wanted to add to it, I just set the display back to "show topics for last 5 days" and there it was. I could also have done a search. Maybe the reason the thread was quiet for awhile was people who like the show weren't moved to post anything - and those who don't feel like talking about Buffy and Angel, or never watched either show, and thus really didn't have anything to say in reply to your posts.)
And don't take things so seriously. I was poking fun at the turn the thread had taken. No need to get all defensive about it.
