'No Time to Die' and 'Top Gun Maverick' are the two films I'm most looking forward to for 2020.
I’m so happy! Love it!
this is the follow up theme we’ve been waiting for since Skyfall!!
Will the theme song be on the soundtrack album????
I like it a lot! I was a bit disappointed with “Writing on the Wall” and never warmed to it, but this more than makes up for it.
Agreed! i listen to all the themes on a playlist. Wall is not included and never will be.
Heck yes. I had confidence this would be good. Not disappointed at all.
Just listened to this song in full.
Overall, I really like it. It has that Bond vibe to it.
I have to start listening to Billie Eilish at some point.
im predicting this will have the darkest and saddest story of any 007 film. I also think we will see an ohmss type ending too.
I think it will deliver on action all the way through of course.
the song and trailers have hinted at betrayal and I think that is a huge theme for this dark and sad film story that will unfold too.
It certainly sounds like a James Bond song, which is more than I can say for many of the songs in the last 25 years. (Skyfall is the last great Bond song, even if the movie was a disappointment IMO).
I liked the Skyfall theme too. This new theme reminded me of that theme a lot too
Bond is back...on antidepressants.
I'm intrigued by the new song and dark tone. At least I don't hate it like some other recent efforts.
Doesn't this sound too slow for an opening title? Unless it's the end credits. Some of the best Bond songs are the end credits. Are we sure this is the opening title?
SKYFALL is one of my most recent favorites and that wasn't an overly exciting track. However, it was Adele and had an excellent orchestra backing.
Yes, Adele was an excellent vocalist with a great arrangement. Best Bond theme in ages.
I'm not a fan of this, though I'm not a fan of Eilish in general with her mumbly, breathy, barely audible vocal style.
My favorite Bond song in ages is Another Way To Die from Jack White and Alicia Keys. To me it feels very Bond-y and has that propulsive fever dream energy that courses through Quantum Of Solace so it’s a perfect match.
I wrote an essay on this that’s been lost to time but I think Quantum, for all its flaws, is still a fantastic picture with an incredible intensity. Bond is in a bad way throughout the majority of the picture, and some “method viewing” really helps. Watch that movie in a state of intoxication, after you’ve been betrayed and wounded, and it’s like “oh, shit, this movie GETS it!”.
This is shaping up to be a joyless movie experience.
I think it could go either way at this point.
