Hell guys,
I'm unsure whether to buy a BluRay-Player or a PC with silent components.
I think it's more flexible with the PC (Surfing the internet, youtube vids, dvds, blueray, files... everythin possible).
I'm not really into home entertainment. Maybe someone here can tell me if I am able to use a surround system with a lowcost (500$) PC or if it has not the approiriate connectors.
What do you think?

BluRay player is going to be the easiest, just plug it in and play movies. Many also will stream Netflix and a dozen other apps if you have WiFi set up in the house.

Thanks for your reply.
The Sony BluRay looks pretty fine.
The design reminds me of the Apple TV.
Do you know if this device is compatible to the UnityRemote?
I use it to control my tv, my little HTS (Just 2.1, from Teufel) and my DVD-Player.
