I started watching this one this afternoon. Like its UHD predecessor Planet Earth II, the images are astounding, color so luscious you could eat it with a spoon, and the HDR perfectly applied giving the seas a majestic luster. I don't want to blow through these too fast (watched two today and that's all for today) so as to better appreciate their superb visual quality, and the DTS HD-MA 5.1 is nicely resolved too and offers excellent envelopment.

I think that Blue Planet II actually looks BETTER than Planet Earth II, if that's even possible. It is positively stunning, reference-quality 4K UHD video. Amazing stuff! Attenborough's narration is also top-notch, as always.

If you're hunting for a go-to title to show off your 4K panel and make jaws drop, look no further than this release.
