I like your additions. Can't believe I left them off my list!

Let me also add Another Thin Man, the third in the series and my personal favorite of the six films in the series.

1940... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1940_in_film I'm really enjoying these old film posters....Wish they'd use more of these for the blu-ray covers.

There quite a few movies I'd like on Blu from 1940 (like The Shop Around the Corner), but the absolute musts are: Philadelphia Story The Westerner - This one of my favorite westerns, although I haven't watch it in quite awhile. Now,I'll have to watch my DVD again :) The Mark of Zorro The Sea Hawk His Girl Friday

1939 - a pretty good year for movies so they say
I've recently seen HD broadcasts of Jesse James and The Return of Frank James which were very nice indeed; however the 1080i TV transfers of Beau Geste and Drums Along The Mohawk were absolutely breathtaking, incredible.

1941 My top two for the year -- Citizen Kane and Maltese Falcon -- are already released. I would consider buying Man Hunt or The Lady Eve, though neither is a must-have for me. I might rent Hellzapoppin' just to experience the insanity again. Nothing else is jumping out at me. As we get deeper into the noir cycle, I'm going to have a lot more wishlist titles.

Oh are we jumping to 1942 already? That's another slim year for me. The Magnificent Ambersons would be great, but since it just got released as a DVD-only extra in a Citizen Kane BR package, it seems unlikely anytime soon. Nothing else I would buy.

Glad to see I'm not the only fan of Random Harvest. I assume WB owns that one?

For Whom the Bell Tolls

Shadow of a Doubt

The More the Merrier

The Song of Bernadette
