Blu Ray player with web browser? (1 Viewer)

I haven't purchased a blu-ray/dvd player in many years and I know the technology has really moved along. I see that many of the players have built in apps like a Roku box. But do any of the players have an actual web browser? My TV in my family room does not, so it would be nice if we could add the functionality by just getting a new blu-ray player.

Thanks!

The practical answer is to use your iPhone / Android or iPad or laptop for living room web surfing.

If you want to say watch YouTube videos, all decent streaming boxes have a YouTube app.

You can also use Apple Airplay or Google Chromecast to share content from a phone to a streaming device, if you’re wanting to get that YouTube video you found up for the family to see.

(I don’t know how you’d use a web browser in a streaming device without a keyboard.)

My Sony 3D BD player had one. But it was soooooo slow. I never used it besides for testing it when I got the device. The apps on that player were also slow when compared to my smart tv.
