The signal path is as follows...
Sony BDP-S1
DVDO iScan HD
Lexicon MC-1
Sharp XV-Z10000 Projector
I am running component video from the Sony to the iScan, and DVI from the iScan to the projector. Audio via coax from the Sony to the Lexicon.
For some reason, Blu-Ray discs may or may not play in this configuration. Usually, I hear the audio come up on the disc, but just get the 'blue screen of death' as for the video. SD discs play fine in this config so it isn't that I have something mis-wired, etc.
I am starting to wonder if this is an issue with my Sony Blu-Ray player. I was an early adopter, and while I have kept it up to date with software, the more I think about this, the more likely it seems that it is the culprit.
Before I toss my BDP-S1 in the trash, and buy a new Blu-Ray player, does anyone have any thoughts on this??
