Thanks NY2LA. I always appreciate the compliments, though I may find it inappropriate to acknowledge them. Aw shucks, just keep 'em coming!Originally Posted by NY2LA /t/314247/blu-ray-custom-cover-art-thread/300#post_4000008
Fantastic work as always. You're amazingly talented. I think I read somewhere that you like other genres besides the action movies we mostly see here. Do you ever do covers for musicals, comedies, classics, holday movies, etc?
WOW.Fritz Nilsen said:Slightly left-of-topic, but just to give you guys an impression of how diverse my Bond assignments are, here's a roll-up I've done for a guy who has the Lotus and wants something to catch the eye when he shows it at fairs and car meets.
Fritz Nilsen said:I don't know if you would classify Bond as classic, but some of them are pure vintage design, like this standalone Dr.No I'm doing for a client.
Nothing inappropriate about appreciating that you're appreciated.Fritz Nilsen said:Thanks NY2LA. I always appreciate the compliments, though I may find it inappropriate to acknowledge them. Aw shucks, just keep 'em coming!
I have done customs for, to name a few, West Side Story, Willy Wonka, What's Up Doc?, Singin' in the Rain, and I am currently working on Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang. Most of these are client-exclusive commissions so I don't show them here.
Excellent stuff! Singin in the Rain is just what I wish they had done.Fritz Nilsen said:I haven't started Chitty Chitty Bang Bang yet, but my client prefers vintage theatrical posters, so that is a given.
If anyone is at all interested, here is a selection of some customs I've made for older films (pre-80s).
The first batch is exclusive and can't be shared, the ones at the bottom are available by PMs.
