I finally managed to platinum the game so now I can walk away from it. I still give it 4 out of 5 stars but but it doesn’t hold any replay value for me and will most likely go in my trade-in pile.

I hear ya. Metroid-Vania (I hate that term) games have all been one and done for me, including Castlevania Symphony of the Night.
Weird how some types of games are like that.
