I was curious if any of you might know if the upcoming SE of Blade Runner is going to have the current director's cut on the disc? I'm trying to find out if I should go ahead and pick up the current disc or just wait for the loaded SE.

where the producer of the upcoming DVD, Charlie de Lauzirika, shares a little info about the upcoming release.
Not much is known yet, and to quote him from the thread:
"Basically, we're all trying to get this one as close to perfection as possible."
I'm waiting for the new disc, no matter what!

If you can get it cheap pick up the current release. But I think the new disc is coming next year so its up to you.
Personally if BR wasnt one of the first discs I bought in 97 i would wait for the SE.
