Project the image on the cloth or rubber side?
Does it make much of a difference either way?

Usually, image is projected on the rubbery side...the grey side. Although u can always check it out urself which looks better for u. Remember the dictum, " Regardless of what others say, if it works for u, to hell with them! "

Or, to paraphrase Duke Ellington, "if it looks good, it is good."

My friend projects on the cloth side. We looked at both sides and decided we like the cloth better.

    Thx for the input!
The screen is built and my new toy just arrived via Fed Ex!!!!!
Now all I have to do is hang it, wire it and FIRE IT UP! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I use the cloth side because the rubber side had some imperfections. Looks great although I never did compare the two.
What side did you go with?

I went with the rubber side.
It's only a temporary screen. Within the next fews weeks I am going to order one once I make up my mind which direction to go in. My wife says this one is good enough. She can't see how the picture will improve with a different screen.

Maybe after I calibrate the projector I will agree with her [IMG]
