I've been searching for this dvd since its supposed release date but I've had no luck. Has anybody in canada found this yet? I really enjoyed it years ago and I've been wanting to see it again for awhile.

I'm not in Canada, but I see this everywhere. Not a big fan of the R1 Disney cover, the Anchor Bay release is much better in terms of packaging.

    Is the Disney version Anamorphic?
I picked up the Anchor Bay version and it was improperly flagged as 4X3 so it displayed with black bars around the picture on my Widescreen TV. I don't have a manual zoom on my DVD player.[IMG]

I've seen it at Zellers as of late for $14.97 Cdn. Try there if there's one near you.

    Yes it is anamorphic.[IMG]

Oddly it took forever for the movie to become available at my Wal-Mart - a couple months after it came out. But now they have plenty of copies. So I have no idea. Obviously going with Amazon.ca or Futureshop would be an option.

Futureshop even has free shipping while with Amazon you have to spend $39 to get it.

I bought this from DVDSoon in Canada. Preordered so got on release, it was around April this year ? I think.

Given how rubbish they are getting out of stock back catalogue I would try someone else now.

Thanks for the advice guys. I try to stay away from ordering on the net as I had some horror stories. But I'll double check Zellers but Wal-Mart was a no go [IMG]

The disney version IS anamorphic, however imo, the non-anamorphic Anchor Bay version looks a lot better zoomed on my 65" 16x9 Sony.

The new Disney version looks blurry, grainy, and dull compared to the older version. I just happened to compare the two again last night.

Strange, I know, but on my Avia calibrated set, the difference is very apparent.

My in the minority 4 cents.[IMG]

I got the new one at Futureshop in Vancouver. It was never put on their new releases rack. Instead it was buried in the Family section.

Well I finally found it this morning at Wal Mart like Matt said they had it buried in the family section as well. Thank god I found it and was beginning to wonder if I ever would.
