Well I am now officailly part of the rotel fan club. Yesterday I purchased the 1066 1075 amp and a denon 3800 dvd. All I can say is WOW easy set up. Looks beautiful in silver and the sound is already an improvement over my Marantz. I will post more as my system breaks in. THanks to all who posted pieces on the rotel. I know I am going to be HAPPY for years.

    Thanks,

    Gregg

Gregg, an afterthought. Have you used it with CD's in 2-channel yet? If so, what are your initial impressions when comparing it with your Marantz?

    Dana,

First thing i did was play 2 chanel music. It is MUCH better. THe marantz rolled of at about 100hz. I have spendor bookshelf speakers that will go as low as 80hz. I set the rotel up for this and the difference is night and day. I will keep things running around the clock for a couple of days for break in. i did notice that the 1066 runs hotter than the amp.
