    Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that Bill&Ted's exellent adventure has been released in Germany. The disc features 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and English, German and Spanish DD 2.0 DPL. The picture is just great for a film from 1989. It seems that the source material was in great shape because I didn't notice any dropouts etc. Colors are vibrant and there is nearly no grain although I sometimes had the feeling they filtered that. Sharpness is still good, though. The English track sounds pretty good but not spectacular even for 2.0 DPL. Voices are always in the center and easy to understand. The stereo front is used pretty good, the rears don't have to do all that much, though. I didn't listen to the other tracks yet.
Extras are thin. The disc features the theatrical trailer in non-anamorphic widescreen and a photo gallery with 20 pictures.
I can definitely recommend this disc. You can find it at amazon e.g.: http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASI...352842-5891239
    regards

Geez, I tried to order it, and I almost got charged as much for shipping as I did for the DVD.
    Argh LOL
What I would give to read German right now...
