I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the TV section...
Animator Bill Melendez died recently.

This is terrible news. All the old animation greats are gone. Thanks for some of the best animated television specials ever made, Mr. Melendez. The PEANUTS specials are some of my fondest memories when it comes to animation. My condolences to the family. RIP.

This memorium thread should be moved to the TV area. Maybe he would actually get more respect there than he has here.
