I just ordered from Xploited Cinema a letterboxed 2.35:1 and anamorphic enhanced DVD of Nicholas Rays' "Bigger Than Life".
Its from the same Spanish company that earlier released a great DVD of "Garden of Evil" Very Cool!

I got this when I was in Madrid recently. Picture quality is good but unfortunately the sound is mono - it was originally shown in 4 track stereo. Conversely, I also picked up TARAS BULBA in Madrid (great place for DVDs incidentally) which is stereo but the picture is 4x3 pan & scan!

Hmmm. I wonder when Fox will get their finder out and release this gem themselves? I saw a new 35mm print last year and Mason is just amazing. A Fox DVD is long overdue.

There is also a French DVD edition which is highly praized on dvdbeaver.com. http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDRev...dvd_review.htm
The quality of recording is truly amazing. Savage Innocents is another Nicholas Ray's movie recently released in the UK as described on dvdbeaver.com. I got a Spanish DVD edition Spain (dvdgo.com) and very happy with it. Amazing movie. http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDRev...dvd_review.htm
These two editions are also available on xploitedcinema.com:http://xploitedcinema.com/search.asp...BMIT=Send+Data
