Ohhhh...yeaaahhh. September 30! I'm looking much more forward to this than Doom III. Can't wait.

The graphics look a little weird. I can't put my finger on it, but they look off.

What sort of system is this going to require?

Yeah, I find myself very interested by this game. I think the challenging creative AI is very cool. For example, if you hide in a room while being chased by an enemy, they might break out the window in the door and look through before busting in. If you hide well, maybe you'll get away?

I also thought the graphics looked weird. They look flat and had very hard edges. Even the shadows. However, I did notice they said all of those images were from mid 2002 build of the graphics engine. I'm sure the graphics have come a long way since.

We'll see when it comes out. Regardless, the graphics and gameplay are expected to rule.

I heard from a friend that the engine is being designed so if you're playing it on a better system, it will look significantly better. Not sure about it, but I don't care. I don't have a good PC, so I'm waiting for the console version.

Yeah, I know, but the way it was described, it sounded like the game could look like anything from Half-Life 1 to beyond Doom 3.
