I have a new pair of Dali 6003 speakers and I have bi wired them to my Onkyo 595 On stereo mode great. but when switched to DVD with 5.1 DTS etc the Amp will only run in Stereo, thats with speaker outputs switching A & B on. the only way to listen is to switch B off and hence no Bi wiring back to the front speakers, the Onkyo doesnt have the facility to operate both outputs in Dolby ETC only Stereo, What could I do to get this to occur to enjoy a bi wired output on two switched outputs? with the benefits of bi wiring

Sounds like your trying to BI-AMP, not Bi-wire. Most, if not all receivers can only output half their rated power when driving 2 sets of speakers at one time (Selecting A & B speakers). You might be able to add a seperate amp if your receiver has preouts.
