I also agree that Dracula is a good film. Along with The Fifth Element. I seriously don't agree with the Superbit idea at all. Even Superbit Deluxe. They should only release ONE version of the film! 1 big Special Edition. Make the transfer and sound the best you can and still make it a good Special Edition. Look at Gladiator, Hannibal, Fight Club, Se7en! All films with at least 1 commentary track with a great transfer and amazing sound! Do it right the first time!

Although, I'm happy that CHTV at least told us they were making a SE. Let's just hope that we don't get a Superbit version before we get the SE just so we can get DTS

It is being reported on another message board forum by "Matt Stevens" that he has inside info. that Black Hawk Down is being planned as a Superbit for 2003. I guess in time we'll see.

I'm pretty sure it'll have a commentary track, so unless Columbia-Tristar changes their policy regarding commentaries on "super-bits" it won't be a super-bit release.

A policy, which I by the way, find very strange, since as it was previously mentioned, several super-bit discs have plenty of space left where for example a commentary track would easily fit.

I also agree that Dracula is a good film. Not nearly as good as Gattaca, though.
Anyway, it is no secret that the French Superbit releases contain three audio tracks: French DD5.1, English DTS AND English DD2.0 (no English DD5.1 :frowning: ).
So I guess a commentary track on the R1 versions would be possible too.
