I just purchased a BFD from my SVS 25-31. I bought 2 of the radioshack 1/4" phono to female RCA connectors.

I was getting no input to the BFD, so I started to unplug the input connector. Then the lights turned on. I can only get a signal if the plug is 1/2 way in.

It does this on both channels.

I have the buttons on the back pushed 'in' for home use. I also held in the in/out button so it is flashing. When the plug is 1/2 in I hear the sub.

Did I buy the wrong input plugs, or is my BFD defective?

    Thanks

They look like the first one, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll check when I get home. Maybe the RS employee gave me the wrong ones. Hopefully that is it.

    Thanks

EDIT: I just looked more closely at the Radioshack site. The correct plugs say "Pack of 2". Mine were single. I most likely have the wrong ones.

    Thanks for the help..

Check the tip of the adapter when you get home. If it has 2 black rings (isolators) near the tip then it is the stereo plug and you have the wrong units.

Hope that works out for you.
