Better To Use Surrounds As Rear Center?

I own a Denon AVR-3802 and am about to buy some speakers. My initial plan was a 6.1 setup as follows:

    4 x B&W DM602 S3 (two fronts, two rears)
    2 x B&W LCR600 S3 (front center, rear center)
    1 x subwoofer

Some participants on another forum* suggested NOT using an LCR600 as a rear center channel, saying I should choose a rear center that sounds the same as my other surrounds. In light of this I’m considering dropping the second LCR600 and purchasing another pair of DM602 S3s which would give me a 7.1 setup as follows:

6 x B&W DM602 S3 (two front FX, two rear FX, two rear centers)
    1 x B&W LCR600 S3 (front center)
    1 x subwoofer

Does this sound like a better thing to do?
