Wow.

"You're an attorney, not a bagman." This is what happens when Saul doesn't listen to his wife. Now, Kim has put herself in the game. This is not good, man.

That whole desert-sequence was incredible from start to finish. Breathtaking cinematography. Peak Bob Odenkirk with the $6,999,999 of cash in the trunk; the shootout was as tense as any scene in Breaking Bad, and literally as close as you can get to convincing me that Saul was gonna die, and then Mike with the cold-blooded save. I had to take a deep, deep breath after that one.

Mike walking over that space-blanket and having it blow away to close out the episode was poetic. Jimmy is finally free of Chuck's ghost.

Great, great episode. We all knew that Jimmy wasn't going to be killed, unless he had a lost identical twin brother or a clone. :) But I wasn't expecting Mike. My initial thought, due to the level of carnage, was that the twin terrors and their kick ass boots and silver suits had returned to clean house. It also occurred to me that Jimmy might have been bait to draw out Lalo's enemies. (I guess that remains to be seen.)

Mike was as bad ass as we have ever seen in either BB or BCS. Great work by Jonathan Banks.

What will Lalo say to Saul about Kim's visit and her knowledge of Saul's work for his client?

A bit surprised at how the episode wrapped up; fully expected a return to civilization.

Agree with Josh that in terms cinematography and editing this was as strong visually as anything we've seen from Gilligan.

Once again - Great, great episode.

Inscription on Kim's tombstone: "She was in the game"

I hope not, but Mike's statement certainly filled me with an appropriate level of foreboding.

Josh had mentioned the space blanket, but it was only after revisiting the episode, in my mind; that I made the connection to Chuck and Jimmy's initial refusal to use it when common sense dictated doing so.

We saw the tarantula / necktie sequence in the opening credits. I am trying to remember when the last time the opening credits featured that imagery. Just can't recall, but it seems like it has been some time.

With Vince Gilligan directing we knew it was going to be a special episode. In a way it reminded me of the Fly episode in BB; the premise was ridiculously simple; but here, just survive. But it was anything but a 'bottle' episode as the wide open vistas and location shooting had to be a nightmare.

It was. Just read Vince Gilligan on it:

The only plot point that escaped me was why didn't the Twins at least escort Saul to the edge of civilization? No one would mess with them. And, oh yeah, Kim is in trouble now.

I believe the 10 different title cards are shown in the same order for each season. So this one would have been seen last Season 4 episode 8. Each season’s first episode has the close up of the blow-up Statue of Liberty. I use to have more of them memorized, but I’ve forgotten. I always wondered if there was specific symbolism for each episode corresponding to the title card, but I’m never good at figuring stuff like that.

Split-screen of Kim drinking water while Saul's drinking his own piss, LOL

There may be just as equally-good production teams making TV right now, but there aren't better ones.
