The Searchers with Red River, Unforgiven, and She Wore a Yellow Ribbon not far behind.

THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY.

I highly recommend KEOMA too, and would like ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST and A FISTFUL OF DYNAMITE to come out soon. (The latter is actually coming out as a 2-disc set in Japan in December, but it needs a properly restored Region 1 release from MGM).

I saw this thread title and the title that leapt to mind immediately was Dennis' original recommendation - Lonesome Dove. Forget the fact that it was made for TV, this is simply the one of the finest films ever made. Robert Duvall's performance is one for the ages. I could watch this one over & over again - and will, thanks to the DVD!!

Some great films have been suggested here! The Magnificent Seve, The Searchers, The Professionals, and Little Big Man (can't wait until it's released) are all fantastic. I'd also like to throw in My Name is Nobody.
