Best way to sell a car quickly? (1 Viewer)

I want to sell my current car ASAP. What's the best way to do it? eBay doesn't seem to sell cars very well, I've got an ad on Autotrader but I don't know how easily it'll be found.

It seems to me that the market for higher-end used cars (it's a 2000 BMW 328 coupe) is pretty slow right now. Anyone got any tips on selling? I've never actually sold a car privately before.

A friend of mine who works at Honda buys and sells a Honda every 6 months. He starts at a price that is just under everyone else in the local Sunday paper and then lowers the price every week by a hundred bucks until he sells it. It really depends on how popular your car is and how long you are willing to advertise. Anything sells for the right price and remember, it only takes one person. Good luck.
