Best way to hook up my PS2. (1 Viewer)

Is it really worth spending the money for the Monster cable that has both the digital (optical) and component outputs? Is there another brand out there? I have always heard that Monster is overpriced and at $70 I cant bring myself to buy this cable. What do you guys use?

Considering it is the PS2 I would just get Sony's cables for alot less. I have tried both and couldn't see a who-lott of improvement.

THe monsters are a little better. Go pick them up on ebay for half the price. I got them and I can definbetly tell a difference.

Get the Sony component cables and the Monster Optical Audio Cable.
For ~$55, you'll get the best of both worlds: crystal clear sound (SURROUND for most DVDs and some games, ESP GTA:VC, SSX Tricky, & NHL 2003), great video, and a good price. I have both, and I'm quite happy with them.

Thanks guys. I picked up the Sony Component cables today and I have a 3' Monster optical cable as well. The HDTV shows up on Thursday. I sure hope after break in that I am very pleased with the PQ.
Any games that I "must" have to enjoy the hookup even more?
