What is the best way to connect my Directv receiver and vcr to the Panny pt47wx49? I want to be able to record one channel while watching another. No component inputs available for the Directv or VCR, VCR does not have S-video either.

Unless there's something special about DirecTV that I don't know (and I'm not saying there isn't [IMG]), you'll have to have two tuners to watch one channel while taping another. Usually that means two decoder boxes.

    Rick,

Robert is right. If you have a TV antenna or cable service, the VCR could tune those channels and record them while you watch a Direct TV program. Otherwise you’ll have to get another Direct TV receiver.
