Best VCR and Directv hookup? (1 Viewer)

What is the best way to connect my Directv receiver and vcr to the Panny pt47wx49? I want to be able to record one channel while watching another. No component inputs available for the Directv or VCR, VCR does not have S-video either.

Unless there's something special about DirecTV that I don't know (and I'm not saying there isn't ), you'll have to have two tuners to watch one channel while taping another. Usually that means two decoder boxes.

Robert is right. If you have a TV antenna or cable service, the VCR could tune those channels and record them while you watch a Direct TV program. Otherwise you’ll have to get another Direct TV receiver.
