Are there any good HD tuner values for the Pioneer Elite 510/610/710 that aren't part of a satellite box? I'm just interested in exploring what kind of quality I can get in OTA HDTV in my area (Seattle). I know that Pioneer used to make some kind of HD tuner card for my set but I don't know if those are still available. They were very expensive when they were first available but maybe they have come down in price... Any info appreciated!

I've been very happy with the Samsung SIR-T150 tuner feeding component HD to my PRO-710HD. The Olympics were just spectactular on NBC last week. The Samsung was being discounted well with a rebate through the end of January, but it's back to full price. Some good deals can be found at Best Buy on opened boxes.

    Good luck!

I prefer the RCA DTC-100 or any other HD STB with RGBHV outputs. This bypasses the internal color and Tint controls.
