*gasp* Clenches Sports Night. :)

I used to have more Argento, but Blue Underground is going to be releasing new editions of his movies in the near future, so I sold them off :). Otherwise, all funds are tied up in googly-eyes Japanese cartoons ;)

Patrick, my fellow Canuck!

Best 3:
THIS IS A HARD ONE
Evil Dead Any Edition!
Indy Trilogy
Burbs

Worst 3:
Practical Magic
House on haunted hill (remake)
Starship troopers

This was tough, I can't believe I got someone with taste so similar to mine!

So hard to pick the best, I liked them all. Picking the worse was just as tough, I did not really hate Starship troopers.

1. Now buddy, If you liked the 'Burbs (in my top 3 comedies) you gotta get Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I feel it is in the same darker and witty, intelligent comedy. What about Bob really close one too.

2. Horror is a tough one, I have a hard time finding really good Horror like the ones you already have. Try "The Ugly". not too scarry but interesting story. If you liked Craven (Nightmare ELm and Serpent and the Rainbow) Try some Carpenter. Prince of Darkness, Halloween (the original) IN the mouth of Madness.

3. Action Fantasy with Conan and Gladiator then try Beast master. keep in mind it's an older flick. Oh and for Martial arts get some early Jet Li. New Legend Of Shaolin and Fist of Legend are a must.

OK let me be the first to stick up for Paul WS Anderson. Granted none of his movies are classics, but I do find all entertaining and I will/have watched them multiple times, except maybe Soldier, I only got that because it was dirt cheap, didn't really care for the movie although I like Russell. My favorite of his is easily Event Horizon (Alien meets Hellraiser).
S1m0ne I enjoyed, picked it up used, I like Niccol's films (Truman Show, Gattaca)
xXx, I enjoyed as a "hip" Bond type of movie.

Let's do another!
James Proffitt:
Best:
Dark City
Amelie
Birthday Girl

Worst:
Barbara Streisand
From Justin to Kelly
American Idol

Needs:
Intolerable Cruelty
Return to Oz
The Adventures of Robin Hood

Wow some whose tastes VERY different than mine! :D

Darn it Mike.B I actually love your 3 recommendations.

Just sold my Alien Legacy to buy the Quadrilogy,
Just bought Dawn Divimax. Don't ask why but I wanted to get it first once it was release before Day Of the Dead. Wanted to watch in order and did not trust myself. Actually want to get ELite Night first so every night it's a struggle not to pop in Dawn...

I have Issues I know...

Love the Shinning, can't get over it being Non- Anamorphic.

Actually, the Golden Collection was for Me!

I love Bill Murray, but really didn't care for Rushmore. Different strokes.

To all: Do I have to set something at dvdprofiler to let others view my stuff or is this just the dvd profiler limiting access to free users? (In which case I shouldn't do anything and eventually some will be able to access it?)
