Looking for the best surrounds to be used for rear channel. Any ideas?
That is a pretty broad question, what speakers are you currently using in your set up now? How big is your room? I am on the verge of getting an Axiom set up, and I have heard wonderful things about the QS4's and QS8's.
Broad is an understatement. With what other gear??
Ok, let me go alittle deeper. I have all Revel speakers (F30's front, C30 center, and M20's for surrounds). I would like to add one or two speakers for my rear center channel. I thought the Revel S30's would work back there but I have a hard time paying that much money for speakers that will only get a small amount of uses. I was thinking of using a pair of Rocket RSS300, but I have heard alot of people say buy the same speakers all the way around. By the way I a large HT.
There's plenty of use in a 7.1 config. Heck, it mimicks the sides. Stay with the Revel's. I'm in the same boat going 7.1 in a new basement HT room i'm building. I have all PSB Stratus series speakers and will add two more. They aren't cheap either but what the hell, i want everything to match.
I would definitely stay with the Revel's
